We are delighted to again bring this unique event to Whitchurch Village, a leafy suburb of Cardiff.

Widely regarded as one of the best 5K Races in the United Kingdom it has an atmosphere second to none, so get ready for the race of your life !

We Run The Streets

Participants will be able to Race, Run, Jog or Walk this unique once a year 5K closed road route.

Hosting both the Welsh 5K Road Racing Championships & Inter Area Match it always brings together a first class field of athletes keen to sample the electric atmosphere and take on this fast, spectator lined route.

All Runners get the Limited Edition Names "Cardiff 5K - Race For Victory" Technical T-Shirt which features the names of all those who enter

RACE START TIME 19:00 HRS

CLUB RUNNERS - IF YOU ARE COMPETING IN THE WELSH ROAD RUNNING CHAMPIONSHIPS YOU MUST WEAR YOUR CLUB VESTS

INTER AREA RUNNERS - IF YOU ARE COMPETING IN THE INTER AREA CHAMPIONSHIPS YOU CAN WEAR YOUR NATIONAL / TEAM VESTS

ALL OTHER RUNNERS "IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD WEAR THE RACE T-SHIRT TO START THE EVENT, ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT"

The event is a Race under the rules and regulations of Welsh Athletics , so it will be timed and official results will be posted

Age Limits - Competitors must be 11yrs old or over to run the Cardiff 5K

The race will be fully marshalled, and the course is marked to national standards.

ALL registration fees are final and non-refundable.

However, we will allow participants to transfer their entry to another person until Friday 1st April 2022 (After this time it will NOT be possible so please don't ask)
